Abstract

In this interview Hardt argues that, despite the fact that a anti-humanist critique is necessary to understanding our contemporary condition, the ascendance of supranational forms of power requires a rethinking and revitalization of the categories humanism and democracy. The perspective would be humanism beyond liberal humanism and democracy beyond liberal democracy and the nation-state, toward a strategy of global resistance and change.
