Abstract

This article aims at highlighting the source of Paulo Freire's concepts of authority and freedom. This research takes into account authors studied by Freire, paying special attention not only to the relation between the freiran text and other authors, but also to the developments of conceptual production based on the dialog with his own experience. This text deals with concepts such as epistemic authority, moral authority, pedagogical authority and political authority.
